We are a small family-owned company, run by professionals. Our origin goes back more than 60 years, to the entrepreneurial vision of our father Agop Karagozian when he first initiated his life in Argentina. TN&Platex was born a little over 30 years ago, from a small spinning mill with a monthly capacity of 150 tons of Open End yarn, in the city of Monte Caseros, Province of Corrientes. We have grown and expanded, becoming Argentina’s leading textile company. With seven industrial plants, a distribution centre and administrative offices across six provinces, today we occupy 130,000 productive square meters, we directly employ 2,300 people and have the capacity to annually produce 55,000 tons of yarn. We are very proud of our people, who work in a team and personally take care of suppliers and clients. Given our leadership role, we are engaged in the future of our industrial sector; we play an active role in the development and defense of the entire agro-textile and apparel value chain. We do this daily from our company, and together with other companies and those that represent our sector through Fundacion Pro Tejer. We also participate in the country’s company union entities in defense of the national industry. Our growth strategy, through profit re-investment allows us to plan, with the aim being to reach a production capacity of 70,000 tons in 2013, with state-of-the-art equipment. But, above all, our priority is focused on the quality of our production and everyone in TN&Platex is engaged in improving the yarn we produce on a daily basis. We would particularly like to thank our clients and suppliers for their daily commitment towards us. Many of them have been with us since our origin.
